A recommendation is useful only if you understand what it is based on and how Smarter Search is paid.
Fit before commission
We look at the platform, technical requirements, support expectations, budget and type of work before suggesting a provider. A WooCommerce store, local brochure site and custom application do not need the same skill set.
Commercial disclosure
Where a recommended provider pays Smarter Search a referral or finder’s fee, we will make that relationship clear. The business should be able to compare the recommendation with other options.
What we want providers to be clear about
Ownership, hosting, response expectations, maintenance scope, backups, access, pricing and what happens if the relationship ends.
