Wrong information
Hours, links, phone details, categories or service areas no longer match the business.
We can set up or optimise the profile for £20, help with access, verification and suspension problems, reply to reviews and add two Google Business Profile posts per month to an existing Smarter Search social campaign for £10/month.
Send us the website and a short description. We’ll take a look before we reply.
Someone searching your company name or a local service may see the map profile before they ever reach your website. That makes neglected information, old photos, unanswered reviews and the wrong categories worth fixing.
Hours, links, phone details, categories or service areas no longer match the business.
The profile exists but looks as though nobody has touched it for months.
Customers are leaving public feedback but the business never acknowledges it.
An old employee, agency or email account may still control an important business asset.
The profile cannot be properly managed because ownership or verification is stuck.
Google has restricted the listing or multiple profiles are causing confusion.
We do not want to become another provider that controls an asset you later struggle to recover.
Wherever possible, the client remains the primary owner of the Google Business Profile. Smarter Search is added with the management access needed to do the work.
If ownership is already confused, we can help work through access and recovery before we start optimising the listing.
The profile does not need to become an expensive standalone marketing contract.
For a new, neglected or poorly configured profile.
Add Google Business Profile to an existing Smarter Search social media campaign.
More involved problems: suspension, duplicate listings, complex ownership recovery or custom review automation may need separate work. We assess the issue first and quote anything outside the normal setup or posting service before carrying it out.
Establish who controls the profile and make sure the business remains in charge wherever possible.
Review categories, services, service areas, description, links, hours, photos and other useful information.
For social customers, publish two Google Business Profile posts each month using suitable campaign content.
Reply to customer reviews and use the profile as part of the wider website, local search and social presence.
The aim is to reduce friction around asking for reviews, not manufacture them.
For face-to-face businesses, our NFC Google Review Cards can take customers directly to the review journey with a tap or QR scan.
For websites that take payments, we can also discuss automated post-payment review requests for Google and Trustpilot. That can turn review collection into a consistent process rather than something staff remember occasionally.
Review requests should be sent to genuine customers without filtering people according to whether we expect positive feedback.
We can investigate verification problems, duplicate listings, ownership disputes and suspended profiles, help organise the information or evidence needed and work through the available recovery or reinstatement route.
We will not promise an outcome that Google controls. Google makes the final decision on verification and reinstatement. Our job is to help make sure the business approaches the problem properly and does not make random changes that make it worse.
Initial setup and optimisation is £20. If you already use our social media posting service, Google Business Profile can then be added for £10 per month, which includes two profile posts each month. More involved recovery or custom work can be quoted separately where needed.
Yes. We can reply to reviews for managed profiles using an agreed tone of voice. Genuine criticism should be handled professionally rather than hidden or argued with.
Yes. We can help identify likely problems, organise the information needed and work through Google’s available verification or reinstatement route. We cannot guarantee that Google will verify or reinstate a profile because that decision remains with Google.
No. Wherever possible, the business should remain the primary owner and Smarter Search should only have the management access needed to do the work.
Yes, in suitable cases. For websites that take payments we can discuss automated review-request journeys for Google and Trustpilot after a genuine transaction, while keeping the process neutral rather than only asking customers who are expected to leave a positive review.
No. Service areas, addresses and reviews should reflect the real business and real customers. We do not create invented offices, buy reviews or fabricate feedback.
Book a call and tell us whether the profile is live, unverified, suspended or difficult to access, plus whether you want setup, ongoing posts, review replies or automated review requests.
