Functionality ceiling
The feature or integration you need cannot be added sensibly.
We move businesses from restrictive or unsuitable platforms to WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify or another better fit — while protecting the useful content, design, URLs and search visibility you already have.
Send us the website and a short description. We’ll take a look before we reply.
Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy, Shopify and other platforms can all be perfectly good choices. The question is whether the current one still fits what the business needs now.
The feature or integration you need cannot be added sensibly.
You want the freedom to use a wider range of designers and developers.
You want a website that is easier to move between hosting or suppliers.
The platform becomes increasingly expensive as functionality or usage grows.
The content, URL or technical structure is getting in the way of the search strategy.
You want clearer ownership of the website, accounts, code or hosting arrangement.
Hosted website builders work in different ways. Written content, images, products or other data may be exportable, but that does not always mean the complete working site can be lifted from one platform and uploaded somewhere else.
That is why we inspect the actual platform before promising a route. If the replacement has to be recreated properly, we treat it as a new website project rather than selling a misleading cheap-migration package.
GoDaddy in particular now has several different builder products. We first identify whether the site uses Websites + Marketing, Airo / Airo AI Builder, WordPress or another GoDaddy setup because the options are not identical. See the dedicated GoDaddy / Airo migration page →
The large platforms create the most enquiries, but proprietary and unusual systems can be assessed too.
Before the old site disappears, we document the parts that matter. Then we test the replacement before and after launch.
Keep URLs where practical and map changes deliberately.
Redirect old addresses when page URLs genuinely need to change.
Protect useful copy, titles, descriptions, headings and internal links.
Carry over analytics, Search Console and conversion tracking where appropriate.
Check canonicals, robots directives, sitemap, schema and indexability.
Crawl the replacement, test redirects and monitor indexing problems.
If customers know the current website and you still like it, we can recreate the look as closely as practical on the new platform.
Keep the branding and familiar structure while improving weak mobile layouts, speed, usability and conversion points.
If the old design is part of the problem, use the new project as an opportunity for a properly considered redesign.
Define what the current platform is preventing.
Inventory pages, content, URLs, features and integrations.
WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify or another fit.
Export or collect content, products, media and useful data.
Create the replacement away from the live website.
URLs, redirects, metadata and tracking are checked.
Connect the domain only when the replacement is ready.
Check forms, orders, redirects, indexing and errors after launch.
We do not call a complete recreation a “migration” to make it sound like a quick technical job. We assess the pages, functionality, data, eCommerce requirements, design direction and SEO work, then quote the replacement as a proper new project.
Existing copy, images, branding and a design you want to retain can still make the job more efficient — but the quote reflects the work actually required.
Yes. In most cases the content and design need to be recreated in WordPress rather than transferred as a complete working site. We map the existing pages, URLs and search signals first, then build and test the replacement before launch.
Yes. Some content can often be exported, but the destination WordPress site still needs proper setup, design work, forms, redirects and testing.
Yes, but GoDaddy now has several different website products and the migration route depends on which one you actually use. We identify the current builder first, then work out what can be exported and what needs rebuilding.
Yes. We are happy to move in either direction when the destination platform better suits the business, catalogue, integrations, administration and ongoing costs.
Not automatically. If the existing working site cannot be transferred and has to be recreated on a new platform, we treat that honestly as a new website project. The existing content, branding and structure can still reduce wasted effort, but we do not promise an artificial migration discount.
No. If you like the existing design, we can aim to keep it familiar while rebuilding it properly for the new platform. You can also use the move to improve or completely redesign the site if that is what the business needs.
Any substantial website change carries some risk, but the biggest avoidable problems come from lost URLs, missing redirects, removed content, changed metadata and poor launch checks. We map those items before the switch and monitor the replacement after launch.
Common enquiries include Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy Website Builder, GoDaddy Airo, Webflow, Weebly, IONOS, HubSpot CMS, Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress and proprietary agency systems. If the platform is unusual, we assess it before recommending the route.
Give us the website, current platform, reasons for moving, design preference and the important things that must survive the change. We can inspect the site before your call.
