Can you transfer my Wix website directly into WordPress?
Not as a complete working one-click transfer. Wix sites depend on Wix infrastructure, so the practical route is normally to build a WordPress replacement and migrate or recreate the useful content and functionality.
Can I keep the same design when moving from Wix to WordPress?
Yes, if the current design still works for the business. We can keep it familiar, improve weak areas while preserving the brand, or use the project for a complete redesign.
Can I keep my domain name?
Yes in normal circumstances. The domain can stay with its current registrar or be transferred separately. We map the DNS and email setup before changing where the website points.
Will my Wix website stay online during the rebuild?
Normally, yes. We build and test WordPress separately and leave the existing Wix site live until the replacement is ready for the domain switch.
What happens to Wix apps, forms and bookings?
We inventory them before quoting the replacement. Some features need WordPress plugins, custom development or a different third-party service rather than a direct transfer.
What happens to my Wix blog?
Wix does not currently provide a general export of Wix Blog posts to other platforms. We therefore inspect the size and structure of the blog and plan the safest practical recovery or recreation route before the old site is cancelled.
Will moving from Wix to WordPress damage my Google rankings?
Any major website change can affect search performance, but avoidable losses usually come from missing URLs, redirects, content, metadata or launch checks. We document those items before the switch and monitor the replacement afterwards.
Is Wix bad for SEO?
No. We do not recommend moving simply because a site uses Wix. The question is whether the current platform, structure or workflow is genuinely limiting the business. If Wix is still doing the job, we will say so.
